EPSILON? Dry Disconnect

The EPSILON™ coupling system was designed to prevent chemical spills and reduce fugitive emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), particularly in the process facility and during transfer to and from truck tanks and railroad tank cars.  

• Dry Disconnect reliability - low spill face seal reduces amount of loss upon disconnect.

• Reduces hassle and cost – the fluid containment system reduces the need for multiple valving and coupling components.

• Provides space savings and greater design flexibility – reduces the need for bulky, expensive hood and trough systems to contain and manage the spillage associated with traditional fluid connection.

• Protects process chemicals from the environment – positive shut-off valves of both coupling halves eliminate line contamination during the connection and disconnection process.

• Prevents cross-contamination of fluids – keyed couplings mechanically lock out and isolate transfer lines.
